Over 100 yachts are about to contest for the famed St Helena Cup, which has evolved into the largest and one of the most fun sailing weekends in S E QLD. The Australiawide boys are prepared and ready to defend their crown, last year we won Best Individual Yacht and the Teams event which includes the St Helena Cup. CHERANA our Tasman Seabird is ready for action and our Team mates PAGAN (Peter Kerr) and FAIRWIND (Les Brown) make up the B.O.T.Y TEAM. Buggered Old Timber Yacht club. This year CHERANA and PAGAN will also enter under IRC and race with the much more modern yachts. Undoubtably the two oldest yachts on the course both PAGAN and CHERANA are extremely evenly matched. CHERANA famed for winnng the Sydney Hobart and PAGAN for winning the Brisbane to Gladstone. More recently PAGAN has dominated our private grudge match so no pressure CHERANA boys!! Go the GREEN!
