One would have forgiven for thinking Detlef was working for me as the purchaser, rather than for the vendor, he was so accommodating. He went above and beyond, even to the point of lending me his personal vehicle to victual the vessel before departure from the Marina

I still find it hard to believe that the Bavaria went on your website on the Saturday and was sold on the Monday… for the full asking price. It proves you know what you are doing.
The Delphia is the third boat I have bought through your brokerage and the after sales service and practical maintenance advice has been a big help as my experience with boats was minimal prior to meeting you.
The new sails and folding propeller proved a master stroke as we were able to win a Wednesday afternoon race at our first start after they were fitted.

I recently purchased a yacht via Detlef Bauer of Australiawide and would like to offer my compliments on the service.

I was looking for an offshore-capable yacht and was fairly specific in my requirements. The photos of the yacht that caught my attention clearly showed the need for remedial work to bring her up to scratch.

Learning of my desire to sail her out of Australia through the islands to New Zealand, Detlef was careful to convey a balanced opinion of the yacht’s condition and potential. (Only later did he divulge an extensive resume of offshore experience that certainly qualified him.)

Six weeks later when I finally saw the yacht I had purchased sight unseen, I found her to be much as advertised and was pleased with my purchase.

I must also thank Detlef for his untiring service that carried on long after the sale was concluded. This has been especially welcome for an overseas buyer such as myself preparing to take a vessel offshore.

I would happily purchase via Detlef and Australiawide again.
