Details
Saibi is a superbly constructed and exceptionally well presented serious sailing vessel and a fine example of Van de Stadt's popular Caribbean design. Named after Australia's most northern Island, Saibai reflects the meticulous care taken with her construction and fit out and offers a solid dodger, all lines leading back the cockpit, along with all winches, main sheet and traveller close at hand, ideal for single and short handed sailing. She comes with a nice set of sails, a very tidy Cummins shaft drive diesel with minimal hours, feathering prop, tender and outboard. Below she presents beautifully, with a good size navigation table and an L shaped galley, seats accomodating at least six adults around the drop leaf timber table. She sleeps four very comfortably with a very large aft cabin berth and a v berth in the forepeak with plenty of space to bed down another two at the settee and dining seats. Lots of opening ports and hatches make for plenty of natural light and ventilation when required, and fly screens for the ports and companionway to keep the nasties out.
We've seen a quite a few well presented Van de Stadts in our time, but this one is by far the most impressive steel version we have come across. With her sails in good condition, rigging less than four years old and everything in excellent working order, we are confident Saibai should absolutely ace any survey and will provide decades of safe and comfortable sailing. Located nearby our office at Manly Harbour Qld, please call Australiawide Boat Sales to arrange an inspection.
