Maria Van Dieman is a Gaia class S&S 37 from the Sparkman and Stephens design stable, this design was the basis for the venerable Swan 36, she is constructed of strip planked Huon Pine, copper nailed on laminated Spotted Gum frames, Epoxy fibreglassed sheathed, All hull fastenings are copper/bronze and floor frames and keel bolts are silicone bronze, She still presents in good condition.
