From the drawing board of Alan Wright one of New Zealand's foremost yacht designers we are pleased to present a custom built Australian registered, Lotus 11 metre sloop. Launched in New Zealand in 1986 it has with its current owners over the past 25 years, sailed to many ports but it's now time to hand the helm over to a new owner to enjoy her excellent cruising credentials. Her main sail with lazy jacks and headsail are in good condition, her diesel is a Yanmar 27 hp which swings a three blade folding propellor and it has a timber tiller with a ST4000 Auto Helm. The electronics package includes NavTrac GPS, GME GP450X GPS, Navman depth sounder, Raymarine wind indicator, Pioneer stereo with four speakers, VHF and HF two way radios. 12 volt electrical power is provided by two house batteries and one start battery which are kept fed by two solar panels. The sugar scoop stern makes it easy to board from the fibreglass dinghy that has an outboard motor. A Maxwell electric windlass on the bow lowers and retrieves the 35 kg anchor. Down below is a varnished timber fitout featuring teak beams on the inside of the coach house roof that provides full headroom. Accommodation is a double V-berth forward, a sea berth in the saloon and a generous port quarter berth aft. There is a lounge that will seat six, a dining table and separate nav station. The fully equipped galley has a two burner gas cooker with oven, over and under bench cupboards, two stainless steel sinks, with hot and cold pressure water, and an eutectic fridge/freezer.
