For family and fishing adventures, as a liveaboard or as working commercial vessel this Scimitar power cat is an excellent choice. She is well spacious and well presented, and is set up to meet her current AMSA commercial certification of 2C (8 persons offshore) and 2D (14 persons partially smooth waters).
She's powered by two very economical and superbly maintained Yanmar shaft drive turbo diesels delivering a top speed of 22 knots or cruising at 15 knots using just 2 litres per nautical mile and does so in comfort thanks to the excellent hull design and her 5m beam. Her solid constuction, extensive inclusions and excellent sea keeping abilities make her a superbly comfortable and very capable long distance vessel having even cruised from Tasmania to North Queensland.
She has dedicated berths for six but could sleep eight, is air conditioned and offers an extremely spacious rear deck perfect for fishing or entertaining, whilst her similarly spacious flybridge with solid fixed bimini is just the place for the entire crew to relax and enjoy sun-downers.
